Strand Avenue in Missoula
Hi there, We are in the process of purchasing the home at Strand Avenue and before doing so, we'd like an estimate on repairing a crack/bowing in the foundation wall. It can be seen and accessed in the basement very easily. We are considering removing the crack by putting in an egress window and so we'd love to talk about that option as well. If there is a possibility of getting a quote/estimate this week, we'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
E Foothills Dr in Missoula
In early March I returned home from work to find an inch of water in a back bedroom of my owner occupied duplex. I have been working with a licensed handyman to stop the leak from a vertical foundation crack in the wall in that room. He has cut away parts of the interior wall and we manually excavated in the back yard under the deck. This has exposed enough of the crack help determine a solution. We also left a sump in hole to move any future ground water away. However, nothing has been formally fixed at this point as he has been researching solutions for complete water mitigation for the whole building. We spoke again last night an he encouraged me to start contact vendors. Appears many companies are declining to bid. Please help and thanks.

I am requesting a quote on a home which has no known foundation. The original home was built in 1930 and has been added onto over the years.
Ranch Club Rd. in Missoula
We're looking at a house that we would really like to buy, however there are cracks in the foundation - inner wall 45 degree and vertical separation inside corner straight up to ceiling, outside around same area two separate cracks in the foundation, didn't get the best look, but I think one of them was at least a quarter inch wide. Would like to have someone come out with us the week of the 9th to get an estimate - that tuesday might work, we will be out of town this week, but can be reached via email. Thanks.

The soil around my home is clay. It was built in the late 1960's. There are cracks and movement in the foundation. It's possible there is no rebar in the foundation.
Peregrine Loop in Missoula
We have a stoop area outside our front door that has settled and dropped approximately 2-4 inches. In addition to the concrete itself, the stoop supports roof posts as well. Because of this, the porch roof has begun to settle. I don't know if the slab raising method would be strong enough to raise both concrete and roof simultaneously, or if we would need to jack the roof separately and then raise the concrete. The area consists of three sections. The area immediately outside the front door is approximately 6 ft x 6 ft. Then there is a step down to an area approximately 3 ft x 15 ft. Then there is a step down to a sidewalk that would need to be angled back up to restore continuity with the stoop. The entire area is exposed aggregate concrete. I am hoping to get an idea of the costs involved to raise this area. My preferred method of contact would be email and I can certainly send photos of the area as well. Thanks!
Colorado Gulch Rd in Missoula
We recently bought a home with a railroad tie retaining wall that appears to be failing. There is evidence of rotten wood and the wall is leaning in parts. We would like to see if it can be repaired and if so, what costs would be associated with it. Thanks.
